Just noticed last night that one of my female's has her white spot so it's looking like she will be ready for breeding so gonna try her with the little fella that is making a very nice bubble nest so will keep you all updated lol

where do the females get the white spot? think mine are a bit young at the moment but it didnt stop Mr fighter puff his gills out to try and impress them lol

it is on the underside lee it's called the ovipositor and she should be quiet fat with eggs, got the book and read it already lol so will have to lend it to you to have a read up on them

your welcome the book I have is really good and explains a lot has your male started making a bubble nest yet? One of mine has but the other two haven't yet it's amazing cheers

Nah not that I'm aware of but the flow of my tank maybe a bit fast at the. I I'm looking at reducing the air pump.

You would defo know if he was building a bubble nest he might appreciate a couple of floating plants or a piece of plastic on the top of the water, he will build one when he's ready.

There still in my main tank ATM gonna try and get my little tank up and running in the next week or so and put him in as I got 4 females it's hard to see which if any his taken a shine to

I know I have five females in with mine and don't have a clue about which one he maybe partial too I just think he's not fussy lol. Are any of your female's showing the white spot underneath or looking a bit fat with egg's yet?

Moved my male into mart's 18" cube last night (taking over his tanks lol) so now just waiting for him to start making his bubble nest's as he needed to be in a bigger tank, going to put the female in with him but in a breeding trap so he can't get to her and try and tempt him to see if he like's her so we will see what happens next.

Yeah I have one that is especially for fighters but any breeding trap that you can buy from any shop will do, just introduced my male to my female and he is showing off something rotten so here's hoping it's a good start if nothing else.

They are lovely looking fighter's there Lee you have some very pretty female's very green with envy lol. I wouldn't worry about the pics as we are having the same problem.
