well i have spoken to colin (he really is a great guy)
i was a bit reluctant but decided it was best to speak to him. he was very concerned and said he will ring his suppliers to check into it. he offered to supply me some general antibiotic and antiparasitic treatments free of charge. he didnt have to do that but was really nice of him to do it.
I cant get the treatments as i have visitors today and wouldnt have time to get the bus over there and back in time, well not with both kids in tow anyway.
still i am pleased i have told him as at least he will be aware if anyone else reports problem. his advice was good and his thoughts on the health of my clown loaches helped rule out some possibilities. he agreed it cant be mny water as they are doing so well and no white spots to indicate problems with quality.

Sound callous but not fussed on the neons anyway. They are just part of the background much like plants. There's only really the clown loaches left that I have any particular attachment to.
Not that I want any to die but you know what I mean.
Even the guppies are easy to replace as there are so many pretty ones out there.

Still more neons this morn. Do you think it's taking longer because I'm only using half dosage? Due to the clown loaches Colin suggested this but he didn't say if I should continue course for longer. An in day 3with Esha exit & 2000

I wouldn't if I where you as it is only day 3 of the treatment as it is day 3 for us so let them have this treatment day and then maybe do a water change tomorrow and start again.

if it was me i would keep doing half doses for extra day or two. the fish u have just lost might have been to bad to recover. but as you have clowns that decision might be harder to make .if you do a water change that will weaken the treatment that is all ready in the tank so i would not do one

will postpone the water change. clowns still looking great so i feel ok to continue the treatment another few days.
fingers crossed..

on a brighter note-still have at least 5 betta fry left.
my worm cultures were finally ready so gave them a dose of the walter worms.
its the most active i have seen the fry so i must have done the culture right lol.
hopefully they will now start to grow now they have the food thats best for them.
wonder what i end up with...males/females and colours.
nothing like wishful thinking lol!

You never know that the fun thing glad your cultures are working well for you don't forget that we have the micro worm culture here that mick did for you and if you put a bucket in the garden you will be able to collect midgy larva too so they will have plenty to go on.

Lol buckets of water in my garden are not a good idea in this house.
All I would end up with is soaked kids & an empty bucket!
