don't think there is such a thing as a true guppy
any more they used to be a good hardy fish now
they are all in breed and weak and are prone to
every thing going

I'm after wild strain guppies myself and you can't buy them anywhere. They are the most hardiest and prolific of the guppies. With them you don't need to separate the fry from the parents as the parents don't eat there own fry, so you end up needing more tanks.
The females are colourless and the males are not quite has flamboyant as the fancy guppies you can buy in the shops. But by heck you get over run with fry. Laughing Laughing Laughing

That's where i got my guppies from the last time. I think it was the W.A.S.P. auction.

reds are still available from people like aquatics to your door (on 't tinterweb like) but quite pricey also only sold in pairs so the old 3 females to one male gets harder to do

mandy by the way they also do wild strain but the biggest problem is the minimum order value plus delivery if ya not wanting a fair few it needs careful thought about costs and value etc however if wild strain and pure guppies is your thing then they are about the only people i've seen doing them at the minute hun

the malton auction sells them as well it was more like a jumble sale than a auction selling gardening books records mainly livebearers
