as any one got any information on planting
mediums at the moment i have washed
cat litter play pit sand and aquatic compost

if you dont mind the colour mix just mix them up and start planting

the cat litter is very lite in the water weight wise and is easly blown around but if mixed with gravel it would lighten the weight making it easyier for fish to forage through its quite a nice terracota colour and looks quite smart an alturnative to gravel just give it a wash before using it as its a bit dusty ive got it in 2 of my tanks the sev tank and a 18"x10x10 as a fry tank
