my trouphus duboisi

my dibosi have had eggs but they are stuck to her egg pipe in a clump just my luck but on the up side I think my othere female has eggs in her mouth will let you know soon

well you could catch her and take them off but would tey be fertilised as nornally they lay the eggs the male fretilises them and she collects them straight away in her mouth so theres a good chance they aint fertile
but if the otherone has a bulge in her mouth and looks like she is chewing and off her food are all good signs

the eggs are no good they not fertile they are dark there stuck she seems not to be bother by this its if they go mouldy could cause problems for her

so it a case of catching her and taking them off

the eggs have fell off the egg pipe of dibosi but egg pipe is still fully down im wondering if she has problems with her in sides will just keep an eye on it she seems ok looks like the othere female that was carrying is not now

dose she look like shes chewing or off her food

no shes eating but thought the othere female had eaten the eggs but shes keeping away from food she looks at it but does not eat it her mouth is closed they normaly stretch there mouths she is not doing it fingers crossed that she is carrying I did move round of the rocks friday they started acting diffrent think they get used to every thing being where it is when you change it around makes them loose terrortorrys will let you know how it goes

my fire fish female didnt look like she was ready to breed but ive just seen her up in the front corner and it looks like shes got a bag of marbles so heres hoping

no young yet she must have eaten the eggs

update she got eggs her gulit is right down and her mouth is streched to max hope she keeps them this time

that sounds like fry in her mouth mate hopfully this time

any chance you could catch her and seperate her to stop the fry getting eaten if it is fry she could spit them in the net as you catch her

she just got them today so will keep eye on her see how it goes my luck might be changeing lol

hopefully she wont eat froim now till they are spat out then shell need a day or so rest before going back into the main group

I'm glad you've got fry fishtanker. I like duboisi the youngsters are bonny.

hope she keeps them this time I like them little as well black with little white spots on them it would be good if they when adults they stay same colours
