Aquarium Type - Poll of opinions
I've decided to put a poll together to get everyones opinion to what the best type of tank is. What I am asking is - "What is you prefered type of fish/tank?" Please dont confuse the question with what type of fish do you currently have.
So...."If you had the opportunity to restart your tank or begin from the beginning on a new tank, what route would you go down?

I would just love to mix all types of fish together, few malawi's with a bitta community plus discus but I dunno which I prefer.

My votes with Malawi mate, I'm doing that right now! Similar to you I've bought a fluval 240 and it's just cycling now ready for them. They are really active and fantastic colours! Lots to choose from so no one tank is ever the same and just fascinating to watch waiting for hierarchy to form! Huge market for any fry you might get too. Plus I like the idea of not having plants because it's much less maintenance.
Re: Aquarium Type - Poll of opinions
Finally narrowed it down a bit, two types to go between, Lake Malawi Cichlids or a Community. I like both and the Mrs likes Community but..... then she said its your tank you decide. What does that mean??? :danger2:

Re: Aquarium Type - Poll of opinions
ur gonna have to choose community then because if u dont u will be in trouble , when they say its "YOUR TANK" they really mean its theres and you got no choice in the matter hahahaha
