two new projects
i have two new projects starting
one is going to be a shrimp
and haven't made my mind up about
the fish going in there yet its 18x16x26 inc
and as a weir type filter compartment to
hide the heater and all the gubbing its going
to have a cat litter type substrate and red moor wood
with moss and hair grass and star grass lighting will
be a clip on light
tank two 40x18x16
is going to be a japanese style planted tank and is going to be sumped
substrate is going to be sand and its going to dressed with slate and red
moor wood again and its going to be planted with moss star grass and
hair grass and some water Lilly type plants fish will be angels rummy nose
tetras and neon tetra
i will keep a journal when i start these tanks so stay tuned

Like the sound of those Biff, some crystal shrimp would be nice. They had some of those at paddock farm. Don't know what fish, you would need something that wouldn't eat shrimp fry if they start breeding. Maybe cardinals or something small, glo eye maybe.

well remember this tank and i said i was going to use cat litter
capped with sand well i lied i have done it with aquatic compost
and play sand as an experiment with planting substrates shortly
i we will fill the tank and plant with all sorts of plant any a few
photos
leveling out the compost
to place the sand on
leveling the sand out
sand leveled out and ready for the water and
plants
