planted tanks  Empty planted tanks

i am going to do two planted tanks
when i get them set up one will be
useing cat litter and the other with
aquarium compost and play pit sand
when i start i will post photos from
day to day or week to week what ever
it might be stay tuned Laughing

ive used sand pit sand it works really well and about 80% cheaper than the shop stuff

i agree mick play pit sand i find better than the stuff in the
pet shop and is good planting medium

I bought some plants yesterday. Riccia and anchor moss. As i have platies riccia is good for the fry as it is a place for them to hide.
Anchor moss looks a bit like java moss. It may be suitable to attach onto bogwood which i might do later on.
