egg hatchery
ok so the wife has this "new" idea in mind where apparently I have to stop letting the cory eat their own eggs
next project is to set a small tank up just to hatch these eggs
however as in the past I have been happy to let the damn things scran the eggs this may be harder than it needs to be
i reckon about 20/30 litre tank, heater, light, airstone and a small sponge filter (or maybe an internal filter??)
the next question is do I need sand or a bare bottomed tank?
do I need to hold the eggs in something or just pop them into the tank?
any suggestions folks???????

Re: egg hatchery
Last week I put about 50 albino Corry eggs into a 12"x12"x12" tank (a divided 2 foot tank) about 1/2 full of water with a sponge filter, all but 5 eggs hatched.
The eggs were removed by scraping them of the glass of a large tank with a Stanly knife blade and letting them fall into an ice cream tub with the top of one side cut off, so it would be flush with the inside tank glass.
The fry are doing fine and been fed on Walter and micro worm.
