Re: oasis fish auction 19th of february
Right Guys this event is coming up very shortly, Ie this Sunday.
Is there anyone wanting to go as we could arrange a convoy or people could share lifts, due to the nature of my possition with baby and pram + small car I am unable to offer this, plus we are visiting family in Sunderland after the auction. However I'm sure others who are going would love to share what room they have and share the petrol money. Other than this guys myself and mick have mentioned going to a LFS in sunderland where we get a 20% discount just to scope the place out, I'm sure the more the merryier.
Has anyone been to this venue before? Is it warm? I'm just thinking of the little one and whether its best to drop him and the mrs with relatives before the auction starts?

how did it go?
Any good buys?
Wasn't worth me going as I've had an outbreak of whitespot from the Tetras I bought last week
Should have got the quarantine tank up and running.

Re: oasis fish auction 19th of february
For my first auction I thought it was very much like walking into a average LFS....I bought two fish a little bit of food, with change from a £10note.
However when I got home, i've sorted the fish and put them into the tank (clown loach & male fighter), the fighter seems very shy and reserved and the loach oh what a nightmare. It only has tiny white spots all over it that I couldn't see in the bag.
So tomorrow will consist of going to the shop for some treatment to cure the problem.....brilliant.
Kev was it yourself that came into the room looking for the loo when myself and mick were showing the secretary of the club the presentation vase?
