I second that mick. You can get fish cheap and also equipment and tanks. Basically allsorts.
I tell you something i will be going to these next year as i haven't been in ages.

I hope to see everyone there itl be my first auction also fish dude sounds good.

you have to remember that its second hand
and new equipment and tanks and the fish are
from breeders and hobbyists

theres one in febuary as soon as i can find the details ill post it its about 19th feb at the charlesyoung centre sunderland

Fish Auctions are great, I'm not a club guy but often attend the auctions, I've sold equipment before and got a fair price for it - however the danger is spending what you make on more fish!!!!!

The fish you get are often bred at home so are better quality than some shop stuff particularly the livebearers.

I agree Andy, i'm gonna have to control myself when i go. You can easily go mad and buy everything in site

auctions are also good for catching up with old friends and making new ones who all share your passion for the hobby

I dont really have a major problem with overspending at auctions............ I simply let "she who must be obeyed" hold the cash!!
