Anybody got a broken juwel light unit

Hi guys just wanted to see if anybody had one of these as I need the little black clip that keeps the hood upright on the tank as mine is cracked and I can see my cat going in my tank lol

can you post a pic or give more info m8 ?...someone might be able to sort a fix out if we know what needs doing !!

difficult fix that...such a small bit to fix...ebay sells neww flaps but other than that you couldd try & superglue the original bit back on with an additional bit over the break to add strength...it would take a bit of crafting with a stanley knife to fashion a splint piece but it could work...around £20 on ebay per flap !

Got told not to use super glue

well what bout contact adhesive..thats good strong glue...or mitre glue...comes in 2 parts..spray with 1st part..apply glue and wow it bonds !...we stuck 2x 2ps together slightly offset and they could not be parted !!...sold in any good diy store or ebay !

Duper glue wound be fine mate, evostick contact glue better though.

Well I've managed to get a broken light unit so going to try and get it off

Got it of but a little snapped on the bottom but it's still ok,going to get some of that silicone and wack a bit on job done,bish bash bosh
