Wish I had found my video camera as this would have made excellent footage it really shows his colour and fins off to it's best going to try and get a picture I think

Will do got some pictures of his bubble nest and I am going to try and get some pics of him showing off to her will try and get as many pictures as possible.

Well we let the dog see the rabbit and let the female meet the male and he was trying his best and she was showing off but he couldn't quiet catch her so don't think she is quiet ready yet will try again tomorrow hopefully will have more success then.

Well they have been in the tank together for another couple of hours and nothing yet so if I have no luck tonight may try a different female tomorrow.

Took me 3/4 days or trying one female in hour or two sessions couple times a day if that helps

Going to try again tonight got a different female who is very fat with eggs but better not tell her she's fat or she may not talk to me again lol updates later.

looks like the male has got a few eggs from her but not many lol so she is still with him but keeping a very close eye on them fingers crossed for lorna that they are eggs

I know really excited but not getting my hopes up hope we get more.

The eggs are very tiny but brighter white than the bubbles.
I could see mine best from above the nest

Thanks deb it is definitely eggs just hoping he manages to get some more out of her.

Hope so but nothing wrong with a small batch to learn with!
In some ways it's made it easier for me. Fewer water changes needed etc..
Tho if I get it wrong I could easily loose the lot!

I suppose it will be easier to raise smaller amount of fry so here's hoping
