Greedy little monkeys!
Think may have been good idea to add the guppy fry. Encouraged them to eat more

Guppy? Have several batches free in main tank. Since added new female Betta tho lost all the tiny ones. Not a prob as over run with snake skin. Female must be storing his sperm cos lost him with the first batch of infection!

Re: My 8 week old betta
well have no choice but to jar this one now!
i have had him separated in floating tank but....he went a built a little bubble nest!!!
i need to take him out of tank as the others are not growing much now and i think it best to tank him out of their water.
he is like a proper male just smaller. flaring at the ones i think are female etc...even displaying his little fins.

Re: My 8 week old betta
I did read that they give off a hormone which stunts the others hence the need to keep on with water changes
He is easily double the size of the next one

Re: My 8 week old betta
Body size is about the same as my smallest adult female Betta. Fins growing fast. Hope he keeps the black edging as quite unusual
