Hi guys

I have a 6x2x2 aquarium

It seems to have developed ich as quite a few of the fish started to get white spot. I've been treating it now for well over a week and half and have turned the temp up. It doesn't seem to be working, in fact seems to be getting worse

My neons have now started getting funny bumps on them and one has a little white ball attached and the other has what looks like scars and eyes bulging.

At ideas on what I can do as you can see my tanks massive so costing a fortune in treatment because I have to use so much of the stuff

Do you have any carbon in your filtration as this can neutralise any treatment that you are putting in? What treatment are you using to treat the whitespot?

I took all the carbon out completely I think it was kingfisher? But could be wrong, I did then try another but seemed not to have worked either

Is there any way you could post a picture of one of the fish so we can have a look?

We used a combination of esha exit and esha fungus cure and that worked a treat for us if that's any help.

So do you think it's safe to use both ich and fungus treatments together?

The esha treatments are fine to mix together but some other treatment's you can't it all depends on what you are using to be honest.

good look pal white spot can be treated in the first stage but not the second, in a 6x2x2 your levels in the water should be fine.

use the treatment it worked for me, but you normaly have to do sevral tretments

If they're gasping at the surface after you turning up the heat you need to put some more aeration in there, higher temps don't let oxygen dissolve as well. If you don't have a lot of scaleless fish (ie catfish, loaches) you can turn up the temp and use salt to treat a lot of infections and try feeding foods infused with garlic which parasites don't like.
