cheers jc...pleasure to deal....some nice fish there...settling in well....although one of the danios was dead when i got home...from the way it was curled i think it had a heart attack in the bag !...still the corys are doing fine...fed them some bloodworm and all eating greedily as they tend to do !

Possibly just the shock of moving....How many Danio's did you end up with? As I still seem to have one in the tank after catching 3.

yeah one was missing m8...one dead one doing fine...must have jumped out of the bag the one you have left !!...i assumed the one that died was due to shock...it was healthy enough in your tank !....have to say the serbai are very nice....havnt kept them before but im hooked...they are such a pretty cory....might have a bash at breeding them !...some reading needed i think !!...cheers

yeah that would tie in with the seasonal breeding ive read about...some reckon they breed in the winter time and if eggs eaten or diseased then no more breeding till the following year !...bit more info needed before i do any undertaking !!...cheers marty !...i will do lots of research before i do anything !!

breed when weather pressure changes too. my sterbai will leave loads of eggs all over then within a few hours it will rain. if you want to bring them on, feed bloodworms for a few days then a cold water change can trigger them to breed. one thing ive found in a community set up is that they breed more frequently when they are in larger numbers and more comfortable too.

The sterbai in question in this thread are from you original batch kev. However I've never seemed to have had any look with breeding cory's but everything else seemed to breed
