i looked for months the best thing
i found was concrete blocks and MDF
laid across the top

A kitchen unit with worktop on? Just an idea would give storage space as well but cheaper that a purpose built cabinet maybe?

the beauty of using kitchen units is that you create the size! 400mm to 1000mm and any combination thereof with worktops coming in 3 metre lengths it's dificult to imagine a tank too long for that! also with the choices of door/drawer fronts they can be made to look quite presentable like!!

what size you after and i will see how much i could make you one for out of 20mm square steel, you whould have to paint it though
