ALBINO AND COMMON BRISTLENOSE PLECS - STOCKTON-ON-TEES
i have albino and common bristlenose plecs for sale. these are from unrelated parents and are approx 1-2 inches long and looking nice and chunky. they are feeding well. im in stockton-on-tees.

Nah these aren't sexable yet mate, I have some growing on that will be sexable soon though. A few I suspect are females but they may be late developing males. These will be more expensive though.

I want some of these - how many do you reckon in a 5ft tank bearing in mind there's a few other types of plec I plan on getting

You could get quite a few in depending on hiding spaces. Id go with upto 5 and then if they is problems when they become adults then move the problematic male on then.

Kev can I have another 3 please 2 for me and one for me mam. My golden nugget plec has died I miss dosed some fungal treatment lost 17 fish in total everything is fine again thank fully very annoyed with my self! The plecs I got off you are doing very well and love there cucumber!!

One of the plecs is starting to get his bristles now! Very excited!! Fish tank is doing very well now too!

can these be kept with other plecs? have common plec (non bristlenose) and tank is easily big enough for another but seem to remeber reading somewhere not to mix these. could be wrong. also looking for plec for my fry tank.

If they are plenty of little nooks and crannys for them both to hide and keep out if each others way then they will be fine. Also putting them in fry tanks I feel is really good as they will never bother the fry and clear up any in eaten food. I've had them in with one week old Cory fry without any problems.
