my group of gourami

i bought 6 gouramis off mick the fish and "thought" id bought 6 females but to my suprise im sat in front of my tank and i have a male :D he has made a buble nest and is trying to get a female to go over to it im realy suprised and excited to see the outcome

just a quick update i seporated the 2 male by using a breeding trap to put the other male in for the time being and along with the duck weed i put an old fish food tub lid in one of the corners of the tank and and both of the males hav made buble nests the one in the trap has made it about half the size not as thick as the one on the lid in the main part of the tank but he is trying which is a good sign but the male in the main tank with the 3 females i cannot quite see if ther is any eggs init but it does look like ther is a round darker spot in the middle of the nest which could be eggs so fingers crossed ill keep updating this post in the future

nor but they kept trying and trying and theyve got a nest in ther atm that looks like it has eggs init loads of litle black spot in the nest so hopefuly this is the real deal and shud hav some young in a couple a days ill get some pics put up for yas to see
