my breeding pair of jack demseys

female
the pair are getting ready to breed soon the male is 8" the female is 7" a beautiful pair but are a pair of bullies when it comes to breeding time the oscars they are in with are pushed upto one end of the tank

Most cichlids are like that mick. Convicts are buggers for it. I used to have a pair of convicts and the female used to bang against the front of the tank to protect her babies.
I remember having rainbow cichlids, they used to jump out the water and hit my hand when i fed them. Scared the crap out of me when they first did it.
