malawi's
i am now after some young malawis i have saulosi so not after anything the same colours so no blue and black bars or any yellow and would prefere them to be around an inch to inch n half let me know what you have and how much i will get back to you cheers please thanks some black / reds / whites would be nice thanks

most malawis go to the size of the tank mate so a yellow lab will get to about 3" in a 3ft but put it in a 6ft and it will grow to 5" like mine

Haven't got any young ready yet but have got an adult elongatus mpanga and a breeding group of orange blotch peacocks

This is my first successful lot of fry of them so i don't know how long they'll take to grow but they're still only small. The 5 ob peacocks am after £20 for them just a young breeding group unfortunately in my tank the fry don't last long.

you are right there are all nice lol but not what i am after sorry if you have any black or white thats what i am now looking for as i have got saulosi so got blue with black stripes and yellow just dont want to get confused whats what or if they breed no hybrids lol thanks anyway maybe you could help me with some names though if you dont mind i seen some the other day they where black with red fins ?? cant find them no more but know they wher malawi cheers and maybe the name of a couple of nice white/albino would be appreciated

only fish i know which are sort of black with red/orange fins are copidochromis borleyi kandango no good with mbuna mind as for white fish metriaclima polli nice not my thing albinos im a purist at heart

sorry posted before id finished text mbuna with black males most melanochromis but females mostly yellow mind few afra are also black deep ndonga nice i forgot to mention the white labs but if you got yellow labs already dont mix mind. there isnt no pure black and white striped mbuna to my knowledge mate.hard to avoid hybrids in a community malawi tank if you get a hyper dominant fish he will try to breed with everything this is why you need a high population but even then it can happen still.
