im abit stuck
i have just been looking round the internet at some diffrent types of kribs and i was just goin get the common krib but i realy like the look of the yellow rock krib does anyone know wher may stock them i paid just under £10 last time for 2 that ended up being my breeding pair or does anyone know someone who may breed them therself ?

aw yea i know done all my homework on them when i bought my first pair its just hard finding them i think chilton had them in but as i wasnt looking for them at the time so i didnt take much notice

i think they like them around 7.6 to 7.8

pelvicachromis are fro south america
and like soft acid water these like there
water with a higher ph and a bit harder

aw right i see what u mean now haha and i am goin to just buy some pelvicachromis pulcher cause the rock kribs also grow to 5" and its abit too big for what im looking for

done like convicts tho and im on about setting another tank up anyway as i have my GBRs in my 2 foot

i was only using them as a metaphor as they are around
the same size as rock kribs so i think you could
get a way with one pair in a 2x1812 tank no
problem

aw ok and yea cheers for the hand think ill hav to wait and see what sort of tank i get first and then ill have a better idea of what fish ill be getting after iv actualy got the tank lol

Them yellow rock kribs are an entirely different species from normal kribs. You are looking at malawi type of route. High ph about neutral to 8, coral sand and gravel, tuffa, ocean rock.
Nice if you want to do that type of thing. But i would rather have south americans.
Have you looked at lattice cichlids or golden eye cichlids. They are a dwarf, about 3 inches. Lovely little fish.
