Wanted: Few bits and bobs
Morning all,
Not needed urgently but £ is there waiting for them.
1. A book about tropical community fish - common/technical name - description - size info - behaviour info etc. (would love information on bottom feeders as currently I dont understand the L thing with plec's and the whole F1 thing).
2. 25litre water container, preferably with handle - if it has a tap that would be fantastic (going to use it to store dechlorinated water so i can do an instant water change if required). Ideally I would love two containers but can always find one later.

The l-number thing is just a list that has been devised giving each different plec its own unique number. This makes identification easier than using a complicated name. Here is the site I use for identifying and research for all catfish.

As for 25 litre water tubs I have seen them in the range bit don't know if they had a tap or how much they were.

Re: Wanted: Few bits and bobs
you need a HMA filter so you
can do water changes straight
off the tap no dechlorinator
need then you can still do water
changes off tap in to a bucket
dechlorinator in and your set to
go

Re: Wanted: Few bits and bobs
The idea was to fill the container and add enough de-chlorinator to the water and then just store it for when its needed.
Thanks for the link to the L-numbers

Why don't you get a bin. Me and Biffster used to use a bin to store water in. We put a heater in to warm the water up and it was there when we needed it. All we did was do water changes and top the bin up with cold water and just leave it till the next water change.

That was the idea - I've managed to order two jerrcan containers off ebay for less that £12 including postage, so that way I have have 50litres of standby water hidden out the way in the cupboard.
