theres about 20 fry so far ive got artimea walter wrm micro worm and bana worm in so far see how they go

did water change today seem fine and powdered some high protien pellets up ready for when they are big enough they are been feed on brineshrimp and walter worms and micro worm at the moment

i was going to drop the water level today but went in and the fry are allover the tank so not wanting to lose any ive left it till they go to one end or to the top again
still plenty of food going in they are about 5mm in length so far

Cracked it now mate,over the first couple of days and got them feeding. Plenty of food and water changes and the jobs a good un!

great news im still worried a bit about catching them and tranfering them to a bigger tank still at 3" deep just more swimming space to grow on how fast do they grow from now

Love the look of those goldfish Mick, where did you get them from? I'm going to change my little 60ltr to cold water I think. Like that vine also! Great look.

They grow on fairly rapid Mick, water changes will ensure they grow, wait till there 1/2" long before worrying about more space, the idea is to let them feed without burning off food, looking for food, so all the energy is put into growth in the early days.

i hope they grow at the same rate as the parents as they are piling on weight they are nearly half the size again already

well they are eating well you can see that they have been eating brineshrimp due to there pink bellys

got up this morning and the adults are chasing round the tank again so here we go again batch number two by the looks ive seperated them from the show tank and put them into a bare 3ft ready this time lol
